Boggin into 2nd

i had my savage out today and it was the first time i had enough area to give her a good run and the engine bogged down when it was goining into 2nd gear a couple times then it stalled, any suggestions??

It sounds like a tuning issue, your either too rich or too lean.

If I have to lean it out even more my Savy will be doing back flips off the line WOW! Thanks

have you also tried changing the gear ratio with the CB and the Spur or even agusting the time when 2nd kicks in
but cheap and easy lean it out BUT NOT TOO MUCH

If it is bogging going into 2nd gear you're too lean! What tank do you have on it? sometimes when it low you can lose fuel flow on WOT pass.
