Actually the ford is pearl white. Before i got the airbrush obviously used rattle cans, and with that one I used translucent silver first, just a very light coat then the white. You could probably make any colour pearl with this method.

The dump truck I used spaz chrome for the grill, stack, and utl. box and tank, along with the steps. The white is faskolor pearl white/blue, you can see the blue in different angles. The blue is faspearl blue. Silver for the box.

I'm not expert these are all my first attempts. Easiest way to do detail is use the liquid mask, 2 to 3 coats. It dry's clear and I just find some design off the net, print, cut it out and put on the inside of the body and trace the pic on the body with perm marker. Then with a hobby knife lightly go over the design on the inside where you liquid mask and peel the part you want to paint first then so on till your done.
The silver/pearl white ford was the first attempt with liquid mask and the red/grey with the skull is my first with the air brush and second with mask.

you can even free hand your own design if you want, and if you mess up, just use a little rubbing alcohol with a kleenex and the marker comes off, keep in mind this is with the protective coating still on the body from fact. Once your done paint, peel off the film and there you go.

blind guy and writing on the side that says blind is all paint.

the carbon fiber didn't come out so well, but gotta learn some how.

Great work. I need to look into some XXX Main goodies before I tackle my next one.

That Dump Truck body is awesome!!!! Good work...also what kind of wheels and tires you got on your XL??? I'm looking to get some new ones, and they look awesome on the XL!!!!

Those are axial beadlock rims black chrome. The tires are Proline 40 series mashers. I have not had any issues with the beads coming out, this set up has held up well.
