Best receiver for hpi savage

Hey guys I am currently running a DX3 spectrum radio and receiver on my Savage XL, the ESC is stock but now every time I turn my savage on I have to re BIND my remote... I want to upgrade to something newer what's the best options?? That don't cost $300??

I use the Flysky GT3c. It's a nice digital one for less then $100! Can program and bind to ten(10) models and has range as far as the eye can see, literally. I have not gone out of range ever🙂 I was pointed in that direction from some real OGs on here and have not been disappointed in the slightest. Also when ordered it arrived with two receivers and you can grab up more for 2 for $20 on Amazon or Ebay anytime.

Orange remote? I found it on Amazon for $60?! I've found a few different ones like this one! And good prices like this one! But I'm skeptical because generally they aren't that cheap.... Lol I almost bought a Traxxas set but I'm just not sure what to do!! But I'm going to try this out! Worst that happens I lost $60 if I can't return it! Lol thank you!! For the reply and help boss!! I really appreciate it! I am also trying to figure out what the best gearing ratio is for the spur gear and the motor gear, I always forget the name lol, I don't want top end speed because I don't go that far really wanted to go that fast I want I guess power if you have any tips on that I currently have a 16 tooth gear on my motor and I believe a 44t spur gear I actually just received my integy 50t steel spur gear today! But I'm not sure how all that works...

Anyone know why when I turn on my Savage the ESC doesn't beep or do anything but flash until I turn my remote off and then it on with the bind button. Then it beeps and I can run it? I don't have to go threw the binding process? Never seen it before
