I'm trying to get back into the RC game and I'm still pretty new to the electric side of RC and I have a flux hp and before I was running the venom batteries and after a few short months of use the batteries are toast and now I'm looking for another set of batteries without breaking the bank what does everyone recommend for hard pack batteries for 4s or 6s?

I use SMC 2S 7400 packs for my flux. They seem to work well. I also used their 9000mah 2S packs. The 7400's are lighter and in a hard case, the run time difference between them wasn't that much, so since the 7400's fit in every one of my trucks, I'm no longer buying the 9000's.
I just got 4 of these to use in my ERBE, stampede 4x4, eJato and savage flux:

The 4 I had from last year were 7200mah, same size though.

Looks like they now offer a larger capacity 10500mah pack that fits the e-revo. If it fits in that, it will fit in the savage flux carriers.

I'm not sure what 3S packs fit as I only run 2x2S or 1x2S in all my trucks. Never bothered with 3S.

I have been running Zippy 3s x2 5000 mAh 25c soft packs and Turnigy 5000 mAh 25c- 30c 3s x2 soft packs in my XL flux from Hobbyking and getting around the 20 min to 25 min. The turnigys are a little bit big to fit in the batt trays but I have Velcro straps around the batt trays.
