battery charger

i lust got a new charger and the manual sucks. i need help setting it up to charge/discharge a 4.8v 600mah receiver pack. i have it set to charge at 0.2 amps and 2 discharge at 0.8 amps is this ok and i would like to know how far to discharge. and it has a d. peak sensitivity setting it is set on default and the manual says the default is 12mv is that ok?

what kind of charger is it? and i would say that would be ok, any decent charger will only discharge it to a certain point then stop on its own. same with charging. thats just my .02 cents.

i forgot to mention it is a nicd battery.

well plug in the battery set the type of battery to NiCd and hold start to start it can't go wrong with a slow charge or discharge.
