battery box question

will a batery box out of a savage x4.6 fit in a savage 25? I'm looking to replace my 25 box it blows with the 3 body clips holding lid on. thx for the help

yes it fits. it's a direct bolt on

thx .. i plan on replaceing the box on my 46 so i can do mid tank mod so i will use that box in my 25. thx again
