If you want your tire to be lighter than stock you can't go wrong with a dish rim and crimefighters.

zombies on maximizers vs stock https://www.hpisavageforum.com/forums/showpost.php?p=119720&postcount=9 i love my zombies, but they're really soft, i was screwin' around on asphalt with them for like 15 minutes and wore 'em pretty good.

*edit* by the way, the stock tires aren't all that bad but the foams completely suck.

First off, welcome to the forum.

i run & love the maximizer rims, but they are much heavier than the stock rims & your lookin for lighter than stock so i wouldnt recommend these rims to you.

i also run the losi zombies. they look wicked kool. theyre a bit more $$ than most others & i wouldnt buy them again or recommend them. they don't grip well on most surfaces if your mill has any kind of power.

badland tires & mulchers grip very well & come with the moulded foams included in purchase price. I'm not sure of the weight of them & the relation to stock tires tho. 😛eace:

Just to give you a visual here's Zombie's on Maximizer beadlocks. I agree with frddy on the zombies. I tried them once and will never try them again. Thay are soft ( I do belive they come in a hard and soft compound though) and the bead is very thin. I'm definitely trying badlands next. Beadlocks are nice because you can reuse the rim over and over again but they tend to be heavier than most rims.

I have used dirt bonz. They are very good. I would still be using them but I had them on 14mm wheels and all 4 stripped. 🙁 My only complaint is they have a soft sidewall.

Good stuff,I do realy like the way zombies look as well as maxximizer beadlocks, just wish they were lighter, might go with mulchers, the badlands are bad a@# tires but they just a little tiny for the big bad savage. If I go with mulchers on maxximizers they will come in at 278g,a total of 25g lighter than stock,100g less for the whole set up.Guess I should buy the truck firdt and see how it feels with the stock tires first and go from there.

Nice to get a warm welcome
Thanks

badlands are same size as the others. just gotta make sure you get the MT ones and not the buggy or truggy 😉

Forsure,,,I just think that the badlands mt tires look a little narrow, they look good on my revo but the savy is so much more of a truck ,kinda just picky...lol

and so you know i love these tires the performance in dirt and grass is very good . i would recommend them to anyone. and welcome to hpisf

Mickey, the rims you have in those pictures; are they the ones that can be reversed? As in if you put them on one way they are 0 offset and if you turn them around they are 1/2 offset? I only ask because I don't know who makes them.
