it is cut and flipped to allow the pinion gear to fit inbetween them.

i would do the motor plate and servo plate in CF but i don't have the money for it. plus its not really any lighter then the stuff I'm using now so ill stick with this till i have some extra funds

lol, it would be a cool thread but who would want to read at 10 page paper lmao. lol make like a story line

sure was, looking forward to spring when i can really open this beast up.

ive been making afew more changes and will post them shortly... trying to perfect this thing so i can actually be reliable this year unlike the state it was in last.

well got some more work done to the truck... made a servo plate, wing mount, motor plate out of plexi... light and seems to be pretty strong, but time will tell.
it they turn out to be to weak ill bring them to the local metal shop and have them cut out of alum but until they break ill be putting them to the test!
i also thru on a 45 losi plastic center diff gear, put this to the test to.
new and improved

ENJOY!

not using a RSC that's the truggy suspension at work! lol.
remember this beast has x2 lower arms, hubs, knuckles, rear upper arms, shocks etc.

pinion is a novak 15T, i do NOT recommend them as i have had 3 of them prior to this explode... i only got it for mock up and its all the lhs had.
however i will say this one has lasted the longest so far with 20 mins of runtime lol

hmm i found the hpi to last the longest i mean they would wear down but i never striped the one i have. RR was next on the list.

i have a few from rc monster that i have not tried as they are a little to high for gearing but they look beefy

Yup I'm Enjoying the new look!
Update the plastic spur is a no go, going back to metal
