Ok so I did a flux conversion with a 2350KV turnigy 4pole sensored motorhttp://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__24847__Turnigy_TrackStar_1_8th_Sensored_Brushless_Motor_2350KV.html, 120A turnigy ESC http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...20A_Sensored_Sensorless_Car_ESC_1_8_1_5_.html, And two Turnigy 5000mAh 2S 40C LiPo Packs http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10305 using an XT90 Battery Harness 10AWG for 2 Packs in Series http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=25661. It worked for about a second over heated and stopped. what am I doing wrong?? I set everything normal on the controller the fan still runs and lights are blinking as the should on the esc. any suggestions

If you could post some pictures of your setup, then we might be able to help you. It's hard to say what's going on without alot more information. What LEDs are doing what? Voltage on battery, ESC, motor?

Well I figured it out, I bought the Y that connects the two lipos together in series and I took it apart to install 8mm bullets to it. When I did it I reversed polarity to one of the batteries and ruined a battery and the ESC! I feel like such a newb =(. Back to the drawing board.

Yea, that will certainly do it. It's always a hard lesson to learn when you wire incorrectly, on the plus side you won't do that again. 😛annedout:

well now I need a new ESC I'm done with china stuff even though it was only my fault. But I still would like something better. What is a good size/type ESC and LiPo for a 2350KV 4 pole sensored motor?
