Anyone try FLM TVPs?

I'm in the process of building up my Savage SS, converted to X, and right now is being upgraded to XL drivetrain. Basically it'll be a Savage X with a wider stance and super hd drivetrain components. I've come across FLM TVPs, FLM45200, but after doing some research it seems at one point they had engine clearance issues. And considering I want to fit an LRP 32 when they're back in stock I don't want to risk them not meshing well. And some were saying clearances throughout the chassis are tighter, especially along the rear part of the drivetrain.

Has there been any update to these slight issues? Should I just avoid and stick to HPI X TVPs? I won't go to integy since their aluminum is cheap and I don't want to consider XL TVPs since I don't like the look of the truck as much as the original length.

Maybe not much help but I've had the TCS std length TVPs for ages and done big jumps and had massive crashes and no worries
