Hey guys. I have been trying to figure out rims and tires for my savage and you helped a lot with my last post. I have since found a guy on craigslist that might be willing to trade me his brand new big joes with rims for my year old stock rims and tires because he said his flux is breaking to many dogbones due to the extra traction. Is anyone running them on a savage X here? And how are they on the X? I know the power delivery is totaly different between the two trucks but I want to be sure I don't make a stupid descision here. I only bash this truck and want it as big and bad as I can make it but I don't wanna be busting stuff everytime I hit the gas or take a little tumble. Thanks again!! Your info is much appreciated

Ok feelin a bit stupid. Sorry guys. Just looked and saw the Big Joe comparison post. Ignor me. Sounds like they are just to heavy. Good to know. Badlands and offset wheels it is. lol

Lol. Nice use of threads found your answer on your own. Good job. But I ran big joes on a stock x. Made it power slide with out rolling over. Never broke parts with them. Just a lil on the heavy side. Now I run them on a full flm truck with a stronger motor and they do fine.

I thought they were OK, gripped well on all surfaces I ran them on, once I'd belted them they were even better, they look sweet too.

But yea, they are very heavy and I didn't realise how much top end I was loosing 'til I swapped for a much lighter tyre/wheel combo.

Thanks again guys. Great to have the feedback. Maybe I should trade and get the big joes but have the badlands for backup. Cause they do look awesome and I am putting in an OS .30 this week so it should have the power. hmmmm.
