anyone got the flm motor plate?

i have the flm motor plate and 49 tooth spur but when i go to put on a 18 tooth cb it wont fit. the meshing is so tight that the gears wont even spin. and my engine wont slide over anymore its already hitting the tvp. so if i have the flm motor plate then i cant put a cb with more than 15 teeth?? right now i have the 15 tooth cb on but i stripped it. so now i tried to change to a 18 tooth (it came with the truck) and it wont fit. LMK

Doobee had a thread on this...flat-sand your engine mount, until it sits low enough to allow the use of your desired CB and Spur...

Oh it works perfectly, the sanding the mount mod will give u so much more movement in your engine mount and engine plate, its awesome!!

make sure u do it evenly and slowly
