Any ways to mod stock shocks on Savage 25?

Is there any way to mod my stock shocks on my savage 25. i want the ride height to be lower. Thanks.

take a shock out, softer springs, softer weight fluid, no spring spacers.

Thanks. Also, I was looking at the OFNA Linkage Mod. I wanted to do that with my truck and I don't know where to get those parts. Anyone know any sites? Oh, What is the top best site for R/c parts, a site that is very trustworthy.

I keep seeing LST Shocks, is the best mod for Savage 25. What does LST stand for and any sites with prices?

sonday smf store is widly used by members on this site. lst is the name of i believe a losi truck that has huge but heavy shocks. i would check ebay and grab yourself some savage flux shocks if you want big bores.

smf is a great store with a huge variety i thought. if not just ebay whatever your looking for. they got it all

You can indeed mod your stock shocks. Simply put a piece of fuel line on the shock-shaft inside the damper housing. That way, the shock cant expand all the way to its maximum anymore.

A piece of 10mm length will lower your height by almost 25mm. In addition, it prevents bent shock-shafts from happening after a rough landing.

I used some spare parts for this picture (missing the nut and washer on the shock-shaft). In the background you see a black rubber piece that is normally outside the damper housing on the shock shaft - I bought some of them and used these instead of fuel line because they're thicker and more stable.

It works like a charm, reduces the number of broken shocks (blasted housing or bent shaft) to zero so far (was the main reason for this mod) and by lowering the height, my truck doesnt flip over in sharp turns as much as before but still has plenty space between the ground and the chassis.

nitro house has the ofna linkage. I just purchased them myself. Darn good mod.
