antenna tube idea

well after a couple runs i found out the the plastic tubes suck. so what i did was took my broken tube and it just so happened that one of the pieces was just long enough to go to the top of the lid. and then i took some fuel line and put it on the end so now it wont break and its still looks ok.

Thats a good idea otherwise switch to a 2.4Ghz radio and get ride of them long wires.

No doubt a good idea. I never understood why they make antenna tubing so breakable. Especially for us people that are ontheir hoods more than the tires :beer:

I have one on my flyer that works great, but they also have them for 27mhz and 75mhz. the 27mhz is only like 10" long.

hey i got my radio antenna and at the bottom where it goes into the box i got some fuel tubing so at the base it is flexible coz dat is were it kept braking for me
