Aluminun vs stock clutch shoes

Are the aluminun HPI clutch shoes much better then the stock ones for the Savage X 4.6?

yes the alum clutch shoes are better they grip better and have more snap but they will only take so much abuse as like any clutch shoe out there.

but if youre lookin at the $30 pair, you can get better quality aluminum shoes for cheaper $$....................

welcome to the forum kevin... yes i agree with frddy and wild child aluminum are better .

theres cheaper ones that work just as good so shop around ..

but it might be wise to get a vented clutch bell imo. for the aluminum shoes create more heat and if your useing a plastic spur gear it might melt it..

try looking on the ebay for shoes.

Yeah go with the aluminum ones. The vented cb is a good idea too.
