alloy clutch shoes

eyy guys just wondering if the hpi alloy clutch shoes are worth it as i have put the hpi savage 3 shoe clutch set up on my tnx,
i fried the shoes pretty bad and has no grab now

what...no little frustrating springs to capture. sweet how long will they last with oversized tires? seems like i'm changing shoes twice a year using stock hpi 3 shoes.

I got the shoes today,

I was saving them for another engine but,

I could not resist since , I have never ran anything but stock shoes

Anyone who has not ran anything but stock.... please try these shoes

Its an incredible difference in power transfer to the tires.

I put the smaller of the weights in the closest hole to center.

What does that mean? I set it to hit hard.

In the dirt/grass it just ripped better than ever.

On the street it responded just as nice, blipping the throttle
brought the front end up about five inch's every time

and held on full throttle wheelies all session.

you have to take the next step to these Nova shoes

Can you use the Mugen 1.0 springs on the Nova Shoes?

yes you can, that is exactly what I used.

Great!!! Thats the one part my LHS does carry. I ordered the shoes from Nova, but didnt have the springs. So I can just pick those 1.0 Mugens up real quick from y LHS when the shoes get here.

took the savy out today it finally got above 35 so I could do some fine tuning
on my carb settings

This thing ripps now, I love these shoes

I'm getting second gear wheelies in a wet grass feild.

can you give me some tips on the setup of the wieghts included
with shoes?
