My wife is gonna buy me an airbrush for christmas (late gift no big deal). I am stuck on which type and one would be the best for a beginner. Single or dual action? Bottom or gravity feed? And also, one that can do fine lines to broad lines (wide coverage area)? I would like to get one that I can use to learn how to airbrush and then also be able to do more detailed painting later on down the road once I get better. Everybodies input is greatly appreciated.

dual action is way better, i have a nice badger brand new that has the option of being either gravity for fine work or suction for bigger sprays if you wanna buy that 😀 to do fine to broad lines that is just changing the needle and head so make sure you get a gun that can be changed

i like badger, aztek series isnt that bad either

also make sure she buys you a bunch of liquid mask and vinyl best stuff for masking

I've already got some liquid mask and some vinyl mask kits from the last body I did. I'm just looking to expand my versatility in the hobby of RC. (trying to sound smart there aren't I) It's gonna be a couple weeks before I can go get it. I'll be the one who actually get to decide on which one, I just need ideas on what to get. I want the most easiest to learn with and use. Also, trying to keep the price under $80. Can go a little higher, but that means less for my B-day that I will get.

wow price came down on them they are 120 on tower right now so if you want it ill do 50 shipped doesnt bother me i don't have the hose for it though
