I finally received the parts needed to finish my Savage and upon start up i noticed the carb wouldn't prime. I eventually was able to prime the carb but noticed large air bubbles in fuel line even after running for a bit the motor also would tend to race due to the air bubbles (leaning out carb) could old fuel or mositure in fuel tank cause this problem? Any other suggestions?

did you check to see if there was any cracks in the tank .... holes in the fuel lins? mabey your gasket under the tank lid is leaking

by the way welcome to hpi savage fourm

I had the same problem and I took the line off of the pipe and blew into it until all the air was gone and started it up right away and it ran fine ever since.. Just a thought.
