Alright guys I need some help. I want to get a airbrush set up . I want top of the line . I've got some nice bodies from aerosol cans but it's time to step up ... What's the best ? I got compressors I need to know what to get . I sprayed auto parts for 3 years so I got the jist of it . I draw pretty nice so I know I can cut my own stencils . And there's no feeling like looking at a sweet body other than somebody telling u that's kick #%^ !

Iwata HP-CS is the best air-brush I've used and it's not that expensive.
I have the Husky $100.00 air compressor from Lowe's with a moisture trap that I picked up at Harbor Freight. If you buy an air compressor get one with a tank, don't buy the kind that just pumps the air into the airbrush line. A tank will give you more of a constant pressure and the compressor will not run constantly.

Hey for rc get several airbrushes. Dedicate one to lacquer and one to water based paint. Eclipse is great with 35 mm or .50 mm needles. Get a master g33 also. Best brush for the money and comes with 3 needles .35 .50 and .80 you will love for larger pearl and metallic. I will post the links for you tomorrow. Www.tcpglobal.com has a lot. Get the adjustable handle with a limiter for the eclipse and the gravity fed. Cheers hope that helps

That s a great .8mm to spray bigger flakes, metallics and use basically as a rattle can to back up the entire body in say black or white, seal it with Faskcoat, glitter etc etc.
With that set up I d use the Eclipse in .35 for spazstix and all thin lacquer based, will use the G33 in .5mm with all waterbased and the E93 for larger surfaces like I said as a rattle can.
Depending on budget and space and the noise level you can use, get a compressor with two outputs. Hook up a moisture trap with a regulator to each of them so you can operate two airbrushes at once, running two different PSI.
Here are two exemples of regulators
You also need a good fixture to put your aibrushes down so they don t fall, one time is enough to damage your needle and tip.
Invest in a good cleaning kit will save you A LOT of time and troubles.
Last but not least a cleaning pot mixing cups and eye droppers
Depending on your budget and skills you can build a lot of that yourself and use recycled bottle as a cleaning pot etc etc.
Also get some disposable latex gloves so you don t put any oils on the inside of the body while painting and cutting the masking etc

just stumbled across that deal.
That is a great one and pretty much what you need.
The compressor alone will sell quick on Fleabay for about 100 or so or you can use it or keep it for indoors work too.
