after run oil??

what is after run oil for ok i know its to keep the engine lubriccated but nitro fuel contains oil so i gues that the oil from the fuel does that job so whats after run oil for should i use it for my savage

this is not about this thread but what % oil is in tornado fuel as it does not say sorry i did not what to make a new thread lol

ARO is used to keep engine internals lubricated when engine is not going to be used for awhile. I use it when my toys aren't going to be used for a week or more =-( . I believe that Marvels Mystery Oil is what is in most ARO so thats what I use. It's cheaper too! The oil in the fuel lubricates when engine is running only so ARO is used when it isn't. As far as the oil % of that fuel you run I don't know. Maybe it is on bottle but if not I'm sure you can find info here somewhere or at Tornado's website.

After run oil displaces moisture in the fuel also help in initial start up. And I found That it helps the engine fire easier. You should use after run oil after each run .. If I plan on running the engine soon (after the last run) ARO is reallly not needed.

cool so i will start using after run oil now thx for the info oh and i had a look on the tornado website and it does not tell me lol all i know it 20 % nitro

Nitro fuel attracts moisture so the ARO helps by coating your internals and preventing any kind of rust from forming. Plus, just like with a regular car, starting causes the most stress on the engine because the lubrication isnt there till the engine is running. If you don't run your truck for a while, Id recommend putting a few drops in head before you start it to limit wear.

I use about 3-4 drops after every run into the glow plug hole, and then flip the motor with the rotostart a few times and put the glow plug back in..

ARO is basically ATF(Auto Transmission Fluid) and yes like someone else said Marvels Mystery Oil works good too.. just use 3-4 drops
