Hey guys. Just got done breaking in my savage x and I started to tune, but I can't hear the truck shift into 2nd. It rev's real high so I start to ease off the gas. What is the stock setting for the screw so I can start from there. I haven't adjusted it myself btw, it's still at the setting from the factory. Thanks.

well just read the manual it tells ya
That wasn't very helpful.

Remove the rubber plug from your tranny case and spin the spur till you see a opening. Hold the spur and spin the brake disk till you see 2 screws. Turn the bottom screw counter clock wise 1/2 and see if that works. The screw you are loosening is on a angle.

I know how to adjust it, and all that, I'm just asking what the stock setting should be. For example, is it 1-1/2 turns from flush?

Hmmm not sure about that one bud. Mega made a post about the stock settings on a 3 speed but I don't think it applies to the 2 speed.

its like 2 1/2 I think don't quote me on that, its easy bro, just turn the set screw clockwise 1/2 turn at a time you'll get it

edit**

its not from flush, its from all the way tightened
