A Used Savage XL W/ Aftermarket engine help

I am looking at a hpi savage Xl as my 1st nitro car, and I have read about the K5.9 not being that great. Due to me having a very small budget (for a nitro car anyway) i have gone to look on ebay as I don't want exceed or redcat.

Notice the engine pic say ofna on top, and I know that ofna are a good brand, but is this a good engine for the savage?

ya the ofna .28 is a good engine for the savage....

More aluminum than my liking but for the price it doesn't seem like a bad price and you should be just fine with the Ofna engine. Good luck!
