6v hump pack connections??

Ive just bought a 6v hump pack and the connection at the end fits straight into the receiver, which then of course by-passes the switch and is constantly on. How do i get it to go through the switch so i can turn it on and off?

what kind of harness do you have? there should be at least two connections coming from the on/off switch. One connects to your hump and the other to your receiver. If its not this way post a pic of what you have so we take a look and give you a better answer

umm everything is totally standard and yes ive got 2 connections coming off the switch, the one which plugs into the receiver is the same as the one coming off the hump. Ive just seen a post lower down which asks the same question (sorry) and the reply there is to cut the 3 pin connection from the hump to fit the 2 pin connection to the switch, but it looks a bit dodgy to me..

yep, you can do that. You should consider getting a switch like this...

this will allow you to charge the hump without taking it out of the radio box. You mount the charging lead on the inside of the radio box cover and it is covered by the rubber boot on the side.

Its a rib keeping you from connecting it right. Cut that rib off the pack connector.
