49T Spur gear dose not fit on to Savage X

Hi

I brought HPI 49T for my savage x and it dose not fit ?!

any one know what do I need to fit it on ?

The one you got now is the one made for the dual slipper clutch that was on the early generation X model. You want the single slipper one. Get the 76937 # again and you will be set otherwise you need to purchase the rest of the stuff for the dual slipper.

IMO, don't go with the dual slipper. I heard it was a bad design, which is why HPI let go of it. Keep the single slipper and buy the other spur gear. I've never had a problem with it.

I agree, the first savage I purcahsed can with the dual slipper. It has not been changed to the single slipper which seem to last longer due to less slipping.
