40 series rear/Standard front???

Just an idea....

I was thinking of running proline bow ties front and rear... But i was considering putting a standard size rim and tire on the front with a 40series on the rear...

I wanted to use the lightweight proline dish wheels... Do they do them in 40 series size still?????

What do people think about this???
If not ill just get bad lands on a ligthweight proline dish wheel.....

Just to see peoples opinions....
(i don't race) i just thought the larger wheel on the rear would offer a little more stability... give better traction. And the smaller wheel on the front would offer better tighter turn in. Could also look quite gd???

Just a thought.... your opinions please...

I think it would be hard on your drive train with out a central diff... but again I'm no pro

Looks like the diameter is the same on MT Bow ties and 40 ones. I'd still go with 40s all around then, looks like a buggy with narrow up front.

You can get premounted fake Bow ties for 40$ on ebay.

the guys up before me said it correctly. my friend did that trying to get an edge on me in racing and blew out both his diffs.......being stupid. the only way it would work is to take the front diff out & driveshaft and just have a 2wd savage!

it was just an idea... at least that all cleared up now...
I'm going to postpone on the new wheels for the moment... I should just concentrate on getting the savage running and the gearing sorted according to temps.
