38 mph

my savy went 38 with a 17/49 tooth combo,is that good or mediocore.I,m wondering how much faster it would be with a 3 sp?

about 2mph. It will get up quicker also. lower 1st gear along with the taller third.

Unless you add the high speed third gear which would give you a few more!!

jump it up to a 20t cb and a 47t sg. that thing will cruise with the 3 speed then.
