3 Speed Tranny

Just wondering if there is any tell tale signs of a 3 speed or is the only way to tell to crack it open?

you do have to open it the case is the same

I assume your talking about an uninstalled 3 speed. as the obvious answer to an installed one is you can hear it shift twice
