3 speed set up,need help

hi guys,
i hav installed the 3 speed on my savage x. I'm confuse on the shift point settings,hav seen the pdf manual n don't seem to understand.
anybody know the settings on the 3rd gear shift for 17/47t n wit big joe tyres? how many counter clockwise turn from close for the 3rd gear?

do i hav to disassemble the gearbox to adjust the 2nd gear shift point?
how do i adjust the 2nd gear shift point?

thx SavyScott, hav read that thread. none for the big joe tires. they say different tires different settings. i think i hav to disassemble the gearbox to set the 2nd gear n I'm also running a hot mill. hmmmm?
