.25 and .28 engine head?

I have a aftermarket engine head for my hpi .25, I have since sold that engine and got a k4.6 (.28). Will the cooling head for for a .25 fit the k4.6?
Please help????

no, it won't...sorry...unless you have access to a lathe to make the opening wider that is...

I'm assuming by "engine head" you mean the finned heat-sink?

Yeah, lathe is essential.

1. The head bolt holes (x4) need slight enlarging.
2. The centre needs to be drilled larger.
3. The bottom needs to be cut to accomodate the button on the 4.6 aswell.

Easy lathe work, its nice having a mate whos a tool maker in this situation.

yup...all my coworkers are usually pretty happy to do favors for beer or occasionally (if it's a bigger project) something a bit harder...
