2 speed tansmission does not shift?

Hi new on here

Bought my Savage 4.6 SS about 10 years ago with a friend had great fun but both cars never seemed to shift did not know how easy it would be able to notice the shift never bothered us as they were so fast .. However now getting back into it and with the power of youtube seeing it shift even more speed . Been in and out with the adjustment grub screw . Does anybody know the base number of turns from all the way in ?

Looks like 1 1/2 turns cw, from loose.

That's great thanks my manual does not have that second picture with the standard setting .
