2.5 savage chassis will it fit savage 4.6x?

Hey guys I'm trying to find a aluminum or a silver chassis for my savage 4.6 cant seem to find one there are all grey chassis i want silver or aluminum can u guys help me I'm trying to find 1 from tower hobbies thats were I'm trying to get some stuff from.i saw one from integy i no thats a big no. tell me if this is it http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDLB7&P=0

Ohhh forgot and if thats not it can u guys let me no info on wich one would work like does it have to say savage x because what gets me all the timeeeeee it just says for a hpi savage i don't get it......DOESNT TELL U SAVAGE XL OR SAVAGE X ???
 
the chassis plates you linked will fit the savage x but they will raise the center of gravity of the truck. i would look at some fast lane machine chassis plates. they look killer and have a lifetime warrenty

So if it raises center of gravity is that bad how does it effect it? I'm only shopping from tower though or rc planet.
 
it will cause it to want to roll over easier and make it harder to drive. the flm is the way to go you can even get the stock size tvp's not the lowered ones but the lcg tvp or the extnd lcg tvp would help your truck. and are a lot stronger than stock. just my .02
 
The stock plates are fine i have them on my truck but when you extend it using the Flm LCG plates its like a whole new truck. You could even end up doing a mid tank mod.

intengy is garbage and the silver savage 25 ones hurt performmance the hpi savage x ones are fine an dthen the flms which are silver
 
:duh:yes i know integy is wack but my question is those integy chassis wont hurt performance they will just break fast:lmao3:
 
Marcos, I have a used set of 25 TVP's and can be as shiny as you want depending on how much you want to polish them up. PM me if interested.

thx allan don't they have higher center gravity than my stock savy 1 allan
or the same?
 
yeah they have a higher CG than the X4.6, but are silver which is what I thought you were looking for. I know you really want to go through tower, but with the discount, you may end up spending more to replace bent plates. Like as has been mentioned, go with the FLM's. You will not be dissapointed at all with them and they have a lifetime warranty. It cost me 15 dollars to have both plates replaced. good luck bud.

thx allan I'm going with flm the thing that idident want was lower center gravity i want my truck sitting high but I'm getting them with ceter skids ....
