Hey guys, since I upgraded to the X SS 47t Steel spur, it ate up my stock 17t on my F4.6. I was wondering what a good 17t bell is, that will withstand the strength of the spur but not be so strong that my spur goes out again? Thanks fellas.

Thanks Pinenip.. Pineapple! lol jk bud, but really thanks that is exactly what I need.

maybe you can help me too pineapple!!!!

i just bought a titanium 52t spur and a vented 15t clutch bell.

are they a good combination?? i mean will they mesh good??
will the bell withstand the titanium strength?

The Ti will hold up just fine as its stronger than steel and much lighter. However just my .02 plastic is best since its a great cheap weak link and they hold up vary well if set properly. This set up will work for you but you will be on your lid vary vary easily unless you run an extended chassis. This gear set up 52/15=~3.5:1 so lots or torque but low top speeds.

PS>We have threadjacked, sorry.

I agree with Larsen. But I have never tried Ti combo.
Is it a Ti spur on a non Ti bell? If so I'm not too sure if that would work.
Could you link to manufacture of spur? Maybe they offer a Ti bell too?
I think we are still on topic here-besides Larsen you be a Mod now anyways! lol
