1/2" off set maximizer wheels and dirt bonz tires

Hey again guys.

I bought 1/2" off set maximizer wheels and dirt bonz tires and of course i have a big problem 🙂 . On the maximizer site, it says " Maximizer's beadlocks now come with New Rings. They are lighter, stiffer and more universal. No need to purchase Rage Rings for use with thin bead tires. Simply insert ring shims on the inner lip of Rings to accomodate thin bead tires such as:... HPI Dirt Bonz."

My impression is that thew wheel doesn't fit so good with them (it's true i didn't try without them) and i was wondering if you guys use them because i don't know how to mount the tires.

I'm using a set of Maximizers with Proline Badlands tires, which are also thin beaded tires. the ring shims that are provided worked great, and gave no problems during installation. If you are having problems installing the tires on those rims, I recommend watching the video on Maximizer's website. It gives a straight-forward approach to tire mounting, and after you get the first one mounted, and rest become easier and easier to install.

how well do your badlands work i just glued mine to a set of RPM offsets going to try em today!
