    I'm assuming you are talking about running 8 big bore shocks. I pretty sure that you can I've seen it done. It will be pretty stiff so you'll want to play with spring and oil combinations.

    Here's the mugen nut installed, much better. The spring is at a better angle and snapped right into position. Hopefully this thread can others in the future.

    I know that this is old thread, but I have the original savage x with F4.1 and it has the dual slipper clutch. I've just realized because I've been looking for new gears that HPI changed the slipper assembly. Why did they change the slipper? Is the newer single slipper better than the dual slipper?

    I find that my temp readings are greatly different from telemetry to temp gun. Telemetry is 50-60F hotter. I haven't hooked up the rpm sensor.     I tried it once just to try it(took out the front driveshaft). It was kind of cool but totally out of control. Way too much power for just two wheels. Give it a shot it is fun.

    Little update. I waited for Axial wheels to arrive. Got the trenchers mounted and I'm pretty happy with them, although their a little on the wide side. They are offset more than proline tech 5 wheels. I'll post some picks later.
