The paper trick never really worked for me. I go by feel and after doing it for a while you know what's loose, tight or perfect. Good way to learn is just trying to get th smoothest Rollin chassis possible.
Stock servos will all work. With upgraded radios you're just changing the method of communication as well as getting a few new features.

I melted my stock gear to from doing wheelies. I replaced it with a steel one and I'm loving it. Only thing is I have to figure out my tranny problems.
I use it all the time. I don't really have time anymore to view forums through the computer, I mostly lurk. But now that I can browse where ever I am, I will definitely will be more active.

did you follow HPI's stock slipper tighten all the way then back of, I believe its 1/2 turn.
Also if I were you I would invest in hardened steel spur and a racing clutch bell there defiantly worth every penny.
