Hi Guys,
My apoligies, I am sure this has been posted a 1000 time.
I was looking at the Ofna throttle and brake set up that a lot of you seem to be running.
Being in Australia I cant buy these parts here, so online is my option.
What would like, if possible :) a list of parts and part...
Got a new`body coming for my XL and I have seen some with holes cut in the windscreen for more air flow.
My question is what are the pros and cons of doing this.? and is it worth doing?
Hi Guys
Due to a good scrape on the engine after a roll over, I have decide to mount the roll cage that goes over motor that came with the truck.
Here's the question, how do you mount it??????
The front of obvious but the back has me stumped.
I like the the tread patten on the Goliath, but would like a slightly lower profile tire, and cross between the Golith and the Phaltlines would be ideal.
The "Black Magic" is a sweet looking truck.
Thanks for the advice from everyone, keep it coming.
Haven't put the order in yet until I check...
Yeah I like this combination, but wanted to confirm they would fit my xl.
Looking at ordering http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNHW9&P=7 for my xl
and
a mate is ordering at the same time http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNHW8&P=7 for his savage x
Thanks for the response guys, I drive my truck on lots of different surfaces, mainly grass.
I really like the look of the Phaltline tires, that nice low profile, and would give some more option of driving on road surfaces.
Wheels i was just looking for something that would suit the low profile...
Hey Guys
I am looking at putting some low profile tires and rims on my savage xl. I saw a truck with traxxas talon tires and wheels that looked sweet (not sure of the model or part No)
Could anyone point me in the right direction with some options of tires and rims to suit my truck.
Cheers
I ask this because I think after a few bad jumps my motor may of moved and stripped the clutch bell. The spur gear didn't look to bad but I couldn't get a new one.
I meshed the gears using the paper in the manual as per instruction, after a short run I noticed some makes one the new clutch...
Thanks everyone for the input.
After further discussion with my mate, he showed me this link. Thought some of you might be interested to see.
