    either your mesh was too tight or too loose -OR- the screws that hold your motor-mount came loose which threw off your mesh & or alignment between clutch bell and spur. are you using Loctite on your engine mount screws?

    What clutch should I run?

    I know that integy does not make awesome parts for the savage, but their knuckle's and aluminum clutch shoes are great. personally, ive had the best luck with the HPI Racing clutch bells (the vented ones).

    personally I would stick with the plastic shock bodies. the aluminum ones look great and youd think that they benefit by being stronger (and they might be) but they also leak.
