Sweet truck!!! I don't care what anybody says; I think the all black brick look is pretty sick. Who cares about aerodynamics at this point anyhow??? I do like that C-10 body in black though. It is good to see another FABB on here too......(Fast-A$$-Black-Brick). 80 or even 100 is very possible...
Thanks guys, now I am ready to bash the Shizznit out of this thing with all of the latest upgrades it should hold up fairly well now.
Blazer, that is a sweet looking K5 you have there. I am currently looking for one with some coilovers, dana 60's, longarm lifted, locked, and caged, on at...
Just a couple of updated pics with my first attempt at spraying my own lid. Just did a single color to get a feel for it. I think it turned out O.K., the next one I do will have some kind of paint mask and will have more than just one color.
It is sounding good so far, I know it is still early but I have to think that thing is gonna rip some new a$$ at just about any track you can put it on, or in any backyard or bashing ground you would want to throw it at. I look forward to the updates.
Swing low sweet chariot. Man that is one sick savage if I do say so myself. Let me know how that thing handles the rough stuff once you get a chance to really test it all out. Sweet, all I can say!!!:jamout::jamout:
Mickey that thing is looking sweeter and sweeter. Keep the updates coming, I want to try a similar shock set-up on my TT tvp's and would like to know how those shocks handle some big jumps. If they bottom out alot, handle rough terrain well, how much body roll if any you have, etc. Like I said...
Looks good oren, the vid is a little shaky, but it still has some pretty good action in it. You have quite the bashing grounds over there too.:Radioactive:
Whats up Joker, glad to hear that you and your truck are both back to being fully operational. With those diffs, the RPM arms, and the Roll Cage, you should be damn near bulletproof for now. Later man, Justin.:resp:
I have been doing a little work to mine lately too, it's on a thread in...
Man that thing looks sweet with that hellfire body, I have been watching this thread from day one and all I can say is freakin' sweeeeeet man, can't wait for some more updates. You have inspired me to try this for the ultra-low cg, let us know how the handling is on say some 5-6ft jumps, whoops...
finally got the proline foams and the zombies mounted on the maximizers and got a new desert rat body, now just need to get the new wing mount and decided to pick up a new tm928 and use the tm728 for bashing only instead of the LRP.
I run the tm728 from RB and only have good things to say about it. I have had no issues except for the one way slipping a little, I did put the rotostart back plate on myself though and did not seal it so it could be my fault. Great engine and very reliable, with gobs of power, both low and top end.
Just outside of concord NC, there are a few abandoned quarries and some places that make brick around here that have some really decent jumps and lots of open space, gets really muddy when it rains like it has been though.
