    WTB Savage Flux HP

I never had problems with the Roto-start personally. I've owned many nitro R/C's and even done engine modding myself...just wanting to avoid all that. Not to mention noise and clean-up (oh, and all the extra expense with nitro). :stressed: I'll stick with the Flux thanks. :smiliejam:

    WTB Savage Flux HP

Looking to get back into the R/C world and want to just get a kit right off...must be virtually new for me to consider buying. I want to go with un-modded and change things myself. Chris

    New Era shock tower install

Sorry I'm a racer (local track in Scott, LA) hehe. I've never had any problems with New Era pieces buddy.

    New Era shock tower install

That's gonna take some testing to get right. I used the RC Raven springs and ended up with 35wt oil I think.

    New Era shock tower install

Not that I have heard of...it's why I left the shock towers plastic. I have no idea if it's a common problem or not, but I don't hear about if it *is* a problem. Here's what it will look like if it happens...

    New Era shock tower install

Anybody that is just bashing around (not racing) will never need that many shock mounting options honestly. You can't see quite a few...hehehe. I had to buy those towers because the LST2 shocks were actually bending the stock plastic!

Ballistic Batteries 6V 2700mAh Receiver Battery Pack (Most Vehicles)

Good place to shop...can't compete with the volume those guys produce. The difference is in the construction of the packs. All these guys use a welded metal strip not much thicker than foil in most cases, but it's enough for a Rx pack. I use high-current teflon wire. Justin you can't say...

Battery WARNING with FLUX and MMM.

Thanks dude. Point being don't take it to the bank that your $200 Hyperion, SMC, Venom pack can't let go.

Battery WARNING with FLUX and MMM.

I can attest to this one...my nearly new $190 Hyperion 4s pack just poofed while sitting on my R/C shelf un-used. Had a storing charge, was never mis-treated and poof. Lucky my house didn't get burned down.

For you charger, you could get away with a 250watt power supply. Get something better now (like 400-500watt) and have plenty to spare later if you ever upgrade.

http://www.haleyshobby.com/images/DSCN2212.JPG It will have a plug with alligator clips...I would replace the alligator clips with banana jacks to plug directly into the power supply I build for you. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y121/go-to73/Power%20Supplies/9f3389ba.jpg...

Alrighty man I got busy at work and couldn't get to it. We should talk in the shout so it would be easier. hehe Anyway, just about *any* off-the-shelf PC power supply can be turned into a high-current switch-mode power supply for the price of parts (if you already have said power supply)...

    Tekin RX8/T8

Having used it...I prefer the Hotwire setup even if it is an extra piece of electronics. I wasn't planning ahead when I installed my Castle ESC and unplugging it for a program change is a severe pain (my connector is under the battery tray). The sensored setup (especially the motor) is...

    Tekin RX8/T8

No problem bro. I'm gonna wait and go for the Tekin after the 1st of the year...that should be enough time for the bugs to get worked out. :DJjam:
