    Project...WOOD!

I think I'm going to get a woodie! I might just use shelf paper though and stick it onto the TVPs

    Can't close the receiver cover

Before I replaced my radio box with the new X version, I had a heck of a time too. But if you remove the middle reciever plate and used servo tape to stick the reciever directly to the inside of the lid, it frees up A LOT of room. But it does reqite a new antenna mount I believe.

    Project...WOOD!

I'd like to see a nice quilted fabric covered body to go on top of it.

Nice vid and mods I enjoyed actually being able to hear the sound of the motor! Thanks for not dubbing in the same old loud, canned metal music.

Kodos to you Larsonracing. I am a believer in cooperation too. I had not visited the site in quite a while for reasons that others pointed out, but am glad its getting its act together. Man, I wish I had more time to play.

    Savage 21 build?

I would just hang on to it and have fum with it. Upgrades are nice if it helps performance or durability. I have a Savage 25 that I replaced parts as needed, which only means the radio, occasional dog bones and an Axial 28 motor.

    Tund Pipe not touching header

Is it a rubber tube coupling? If so, then it is not necessary for the pipe to touch the header because the coupling takes up the slack. I have seen this with other pipes and such that I have owned.

    Jr Xs3

I have that and it works fine. It will work with those servos fine. I like the synth radio features. Lots of people use the new infinate channel systems, but you can get great deals on used traditional radios.

    Removing purple anodizing

Theres a heavy duty degreaser product sold in gallon jugs called "Greased Lightning" that takes off anodizing upon contact. Stuff workes like nobody's business. Minimal cleanup is necessary. But if it works this well, use gloves!

Warning for all members and families

Its hoax. It comes around shopping seasons, but its a good reminder to allways be careful when shopping and never trust a parking lot to be safe. http://www.hoax-slayer.com/car-jacking-warning.html

Somehow I really don't feeling like anything has changed to make us any safer. I fly all the time, but all I see is longer lines and ever changing rules, like taking off your shoes for cryin out loud. I don't know what the point of Homeland security is if it still can't consolidate information...

THE DYNAMITE MACH 28 "not a run of the mill" Mill.

Wow, thats a lot of engine breaking in. It sounds like a good powerful mill. How many years have you been heat cycling it? Does starting the engine and driving it and bashing it count as a heat cycle? In that case my S25 motor had 8 gallons worth of heat cycling, but it died before I could...

    Share your crash damage pics!

yeah you can loose those now and then. Chech them from time to time to be sure that they are really tight. A good set of hex driver tools helps.

    Directdrive Your Ride

Thanks for the idea and the very clear instructions! I remember having all sorts of slipper issues untill I got it right. I certainly will consider this mod for the future, if those problems come back. I recall racing back in the old days of 1980s and slipper clutches were rare. Its more of a...

    Wasp .28

I wouldn't buy it. Missing parts are a pain and $120 can get you an Axial .28 brand new from tower. You will be glad you spent the extra 40.

    Wasted Mods

I sold my first Savage 25 and have recently picked up and rebuilt another Savage 25 roller. I was determined to modify it wisely. No added aluminum. No reverse or three speed - I didn't need them, just cost me money. So my mod list is short: Hump pack and failsafe 645 MG servo Hex...
