    big bore problems

Honestly seems like you have a leak of some sort. Are you 100% sure your shocks are completely full with oil and leak free? I would take the springs off and test each shock individually and watch on the bottom and by the cap for leaking, if they squeak they leak. I would try dropping the truck...

    big bore problems

Do you have a picture of the install? that would help alot or even a short video of them on the truck. It's usually the springs job to push the shocks back up to normal ride height. What springs are you running? The ones that came with it? or stock shock springs?

Custom Wing Mount (lots of pics)

Bingo. I use CB spacers on alot of things. Such as the bottom screw for my dirt shields, and the spacer underneath my body posts for my hellfire tank mount. The reason is because my LHS guy accidently ordered like 20 packages of them and had nobody to give them to since I only wanted 1 package...

Custom Wing Mount (lots of pics)

Update: UPDATE: I ran three screws with nuts on the end of them through my shock tower up near the top to equalize the load on the wing and mount in the event of a direct landing.

Custom Wing Mount (lots of pics)

Why do you want a wing for your savage? If you ask me.. the question is why Don't you want a wing? I can tell you from experience that you WILL feel a wing on the track or even in your backyard when you hit the throttle. You'll notice a much more stable truck on the top of the powerband and...

    Easy Hellfire Tank Mounting

Here is my almighty high torque steering servo. Just kidding :P Okay, so this is not the real thing but I had several stock servo's laying around so I bolted one up really quick and snapped some pictures to show the clearance. The servo fits in the slot next to the tank with absolutely no...

    Easy Hellfire Tank Mounting

The servo will mount in the stock location, I just have it out because i was ordering a new one. It was on back-order and then found out it is no longer going to be carried by tower... Looking for a new servo now.

    Easy Hellfire Tank Mounting

I decided to go with the hellfire tank for my mid tank build and after a few attempts at mounting it I decided that I did not want to use long screws to bolt it in place. the reason for this being is that it becomes a pain to remove the tank again once its screwed in. My alternative was to use...

    Dirt Shields

I don't know about air resistance but I get what you mean. From what I understand wind doesn't really come into play until your past 45mph or so. Not likely to see any limitations on the track or bashing around. If anything it will help out your wing and push your rear end down even harder for...

    Dirt Shields

Ever get done racing or bashing and have a mess of dirt all over your rear drive shafts? You can thank your front tires and 4WD for this. One of the things I had done on previous trucks is cut some lexan to put over the rear a arms. Lots of pros do this as well. It's a very simple mod that...

    Stiffen up your rear (stock)

I am currently on an FLM extended low cog TVP Mid tank savage on stock suspension. One of the things I noticed is how the rear hubs are tied together, very similar to that of a maxx. The ball end is screwed into the rear bulkheads seperate from each other. However this leads to your rear hubs...

    Broken Bearing?

I don't think I lost alot of balls out of the bearing, I think they just all bundled up on one side.. and yea I think I might just send it in to them and see what they think about this engine just needing to "break in" lol

    Broken Bearing?

Pretty rediculous considering it only has two quarts. new bearing is like $26 + shipping... wonder what axial could do about this.

    Broken Bearing?

Well for some time now I had been having troubles with an axial .28 spec 1s that was next to new (only 2 quarts in) and it had ceased on me once and I did not know why. I did a teardown of it to inspect it all and see what had been going on, since axial support had been telling me that it was...

    Savage Racer Setup

I currently own a pretty well stock savage 21, aside from a 3 speed hpi transmission and an axial .28 powerplant. I also own a traxxas revo which is set up for racing mostly and it handles much better than the savage. I have aquired a taste for slammed down monster trucks with ming mounts and...
