Moo, I believe Nova was the only one I've ever seen made with front/back adjustment. That's what I currently use, but I had mine ano'd black. One of the engine mount holes is stripped, so i just use extra lock tight to keep the screw in.
Here are the measurements I said I would post up when I got the chance. Small version (MK1) is 40" wide, 41" long (flat with no curve), and 14" high. I may make it a couple inches taller. The large version (MK2) is 40" wide, 80" long (flat with no curve), and 42" high. Still need to finish MK2...
No problem @letsrip. Like I said, it's time consuming the way I explained how I did it, but everybody has their own way of doin things. If you do go that route, try to get the 1-2 shift point done within a few hrs on the same day. That way your workin with a more consistent tune. Then do the 2-3...
The best way I've adjusted the shift points is to lock out 3rd gear by turning the screw all the way in. The doing the same for the 1-2 shift then backing out about 1 1/2 turns. Run the truck for awhile and see if it shifts. If not, shut the truck down, pull the gears out, back the screw out...
Unfortunately, since you've already swapped parts out on it and lubed everything, you probably won't be able to return it. The piston being tight in the sleeve is normal for a new engine. All sleeves have a taper, wider at the bottom & smaller at the top. That's how it stays sealed and under...
Thanks X for looking into gettin that thread back. I was gonna just update it with the new versions, but couldn't find it.
That T-Bone Racing ramp is expensive. That cost as much as some new RCs. There's no way I'd spend that much on a ramp, no matter how lazy I am. Besides, if I was THAT...
That's the "tweek" I still need to finish. Gonna either add a S-hook & chain or a pc of angle to pull the middle angle down to add a curve to the ramp. Right now, with it being loose, jumping my son's SC truck off it doesn't have any side effects (so to speak)to the way the truck jumps. The...
In the 3rd (middle) pic, the clip that is on the short side angle was a temp solution til I was able to pick up the riv-nuts. I also still have a few more "tweeks" to do, but he's jumped it a few times and is very happy with it.
