the stock esc did not take the 3s battery, i had to replace it with a mamba max pro. drivetrain took a beating in 3s and had to get new dog bones and cups every 5 runs or so. I got the silver cups that were a lot stronger and I never changed them at all even on 3s.
the weak slipper clutch is the main reason i sold my xs and got a flux hp instead. Slipper clutch was always the problem even when i got new pads they lasted for about 2 solid runs. that thing gave me a head ache i started to hate the hobby because of that miserable thing.
The batteries were not connected to anything when I took the readings. The esc cut off is working properly because it was the one that stops my truck at around 3-2-3.3.
Is it possible that a volt meter gives a higher reading on LiPo after battery cool down than when its hot?.

I had a Quicrun 150 and same thing happened. Started cogging when I hit the throttle. That ESC is dead now, but I ran it in 1 foot deep snow.
