    I cut a platic bic pen and used it in place of the spring. Just did that this morning, it works great with me pushing it on the kitchen table, not sure yet how it will work in real life. I will test it next time it stops raining. Judd

    I am at drive the truck in circles for two tanks at half throttle. Problem is it won't stay running for that.

    I have it set back to spec, the best that I can tell and now it won't really run at all. It fires up then dies shortly after removing the GP starter.

    I will go read that and see if it helps. I just tried the last idea and no help. I started it and moved the dial back to center, then I adjusted the idle screw but it didn't matter what i did with that thing, under break the engine would die. Judd

    SDMorris, Thank you for the help and the tip. Looks like it has stopped raining, so I am going to refuel and try to get that set right during the second tank. oh.. which way is leaning..I assume counter clockwise

    Also let me add... There is gas coming out of my pipe, enough that after idling a tank it left a little puddle. Is this ok or something else i need to fix?

    Just got my savy back out and it fired right up! I got it to idle through my first tank of fuel. Which brings me to some new questions. It won't idle if you put on the brakes, it dies. (Why? What do i do?) When idling out that tank I had to hold it because the wheels spin. On the remote...

    Awesome guys!! This is my first nitro and it is the 4.6, so maybe it is too rich. I am about out of time to play with it today and a cold front is coming in this weekend..but I will read those links, print them off and give it a try as soon as weather permits. I am really timid right now on...

    Just tried again...and giving it gas It will fire up everytime. However it is no where near being able to idle. After it starts I pick it up and the wheels are spinning fast.... If I put the brakes on so I can sit it down then it dies. I am still excited that I have at least got it to start...

    If I give it gas it will start right up, but as soon as I let off the gas it dies. Not sure what to do to get it to idle this tank of fuel. I don't have anything to get it up of the ground other than me holding it...if i sit it down and try to start it, then it will take off till i let off...

    Dang...now that i waited... I can't get it to start at all again. Roto Start is spinning it without any problem. It is turning over and even sounds like it is about to start but as soon as i let my hand off the roto start I get nothing. I guess the newbi learning curve is steep

    Well, It was 50 here today and I was trying to start it in the kitchen floor. I was right in front of the sliding glass door and had it cracked. Tomorrow its going to start out about 40 but drop all day till it gets 32 or below.

    I don't currently have any after run oil or I would give it a try. I have fuel coming out of the pipe now, but if I remove the plug and turn it upside down, nothing comes out. So I don't think I am flooding it.
