ya ive read that the mid tank lean is just a crappy stock tank setup.
i dunno, i just haven't seemed to have a consistent tune on it.
ive watched the tuning guide a few times and will keep at it.
i have a temp gun now so that should really help.
i thought id try the seal and see if helps keep...
well i was trying to seal my engine/carb.
i keep chasing the tune and are sick of it.
so anyways, the hex bolts on the crank case is striped.
what can i do about them?
i can pull two of them, the other two will not pull. not sure what to do.

well after i screwed with it here after work, found out ya my LSN was way to rich.
i leaned it up and shes getting back some of her umf. lol.
but what i did notice is it will stall when i brake.
I'm watching the carby and is it suppose to close all the way when braking?

ya i pulled the mill out and noticed a few screws loose and such.
tightened it all up.
pulled the head off and checked the piston, its barley brown.
i mean i don't even have a full gallon in it yet.

the LHS did all my tuning.
i replaced the plug maybe one tank ago.
i checked the plug and it glows fully orange, not like half as the last one did.
not sure how old the fuel is, its my first gallon, not quite through it yet.
cant remember the brand...
when i first got my sav from the LHS it ran awesome.
couldnt keep the front tires on the ground. couldnt keep all 4 tires on the ground for that matter.
anyways, a bit a go i posted a issue about it not running right.
thought maybe it was the glow plug.
i replaced it, ran ok for a bit, but...

i just changed mine from the original that was used to break in the engine.
and also the fuel and pressure lines. seem to be running back to normal.
I'm almost through my first gallon of fuel as well, I'm using 33% nitro, awesome stuff...
yah, my first RC was a redcat racing little 1/10 buggy.
not sure if i tuned it correct at all.
plus i don't have a temp gauge, so i cant tell when its running at optimum.
but ya if read the manual i might be able to grasp it.

its still the same plug from break in, so I'm sure it needs to be replaced.

i am still using the stock hpi air filter, just wondering, after i clean it, can i use my K&N air filter oil that is used...
just wondering, my Savage X isnt running quite like when i got it first tuned.
it will still wheelie and such, but it seems to stall all the time.
hardly wants to idle.
will bashing cause tuning to go out?
or am i just needing a new glow plug?
i know my pressure line was cut a few times...
