The photo for the one for the 4.6 doesn't look right. I have asked him for some more photos. Has anyone tried this one:

Can anyone tell me what color shock springs are what stiffness? I see all the colors but I do not know what is what & what to get. Thanks once again,
ck
I'll try greasing. It could make the clearance difference huh? I found the link on the replacement part. I've never had the back plate off. Is that scary?

It's me again. My roto starter is slipping inside engine. I have cleaned the OWB with carb cleaner. I want to make sure I don't waste $ on the wrong part. Is there any chance that the starting shaft is worn or the pin on the crank is the offending party? Also, I have been looking at a...
Should I shim equally on both sides? Or should I shim so the ring is tighter to the pinion? There appears to be a LARGE amount of play. I have already bought 2 sets of bevel gears. I'll go with the complete diff. after that. Thanks, ck
I am really concerned that both the ring and pinion in the from differential have stripped out. Of the 13 teeth on the pinion, 3 are left and all the teeth on the ring are worn to a nubs!!! I can replace them easy enough, but WHY did that happen? The truck is not even three months old. Are...
There is a kit on eBay that claims since the the starter shaft does not turn after the engine starts, that a nut with a set screw attached directly to the starter shaft will work instead of a OWB???? The item number is 270161373259. Will this really work? ck
I really punished my truck on Sat. The 45 weight in the shocks did no apparent damage. It handled just fine and doesn't squat as bad. I am leaving it in for now.

Thank you guys so much! I will tear it apart and clean it. One question to savagecre, what is ATV? Sometimes the acryonyms throw me a little, b ut I really appreciate hearing from the experts.

My roto start has started to slip. I am a worrier; always worst case! Anyway, is it ever the crank shaft or something expensive when this happens or is it the one-way bearing or gears? What usually goes first?
thanks, ck
I have decided to try the 45 weight at the track on Saturday, but have a bottle of 30 and do the old "switch-a-roo" if it doesn't work out. I will report back.
Thanks everyone,
ck
