Mine are on the F-11 rims. I like the despy's though. I have them in the 2.8 size wrapped in trenchers on one of my pedes.

So here is my plan. Can't upload my CAD drawings since Solid Works is being fussy about exporting the image so I snapped a picture and threw the image in good `ol paint to give an idea of how I think this will work.

The new hole I drill on the bottom right will serve as a new mounting hole for a C bracket I will make to wrap around the outside of the tank. The other hole that is already there will secure the other side. making the cuts in the TVP where I have marked will allow the revo tank to slide right into the opening.

Now, the revo tank has complete opposite mounting points than a savvy tank so the plan there is to cut them off the tank altogether and secure the tank with velcro to the engine plate and the new C bracket. THoughts?

sorry to disagree with ya here fixxer, but cutting a section out of the chassis is asking for disaster at most and least a bent in half rig.......

I was afraid of that and that's why I posted it first.

ya is all about structural integrity and all that stuff. I would hate to see your Assasin bent in half in pictures all over this forum... I think I saw a thread awhile back detailing how one member used a non stock tank on his rig and was able to solve his lean issues and it was mounted in the stock location too, I will see if I can find it for ya tomorrow......

Appreciate that

I have the new era ofna tank and mount. The tank is way to tiny (125cc), and I still debate whether it actually gets rid of half tank lean. Recently I went back to the stock tank over short run times per tank.

Yeah 125 is pretty small and I was willing but not all that sure about losing the 10cc using a revo tank would cause.......but looking at @Grumpy1822 picture has given me an idea for the Revo tank mounts.

Thanks for the lead Jam

Picking up the hub conversion kit this morning on the way to work. Got a gearing question. 13/49 going to be okay with the 3.8"s?

Time to finally tear down the XTM 24.7, seal it, and get the Losi 3.4 installed. I have the time for the next few days. Might as well. Still have to figure the Revo tank mounting then I can this bad boy back in the dirt.

Wheels and tires look Great, but them purple hubs and nuts sure clash with ur theme ya got goin......

Thanks guys. I love this truck. It is now the biggest truck I own.

Just got word from my buddy. He is cutting up some spin on knock offs that should cover up the purple. The nut will stay in place and there is a enough thread left on the ends to get a bite on the hub. Little bit of loc-tite on the threads and they should stay put.

All he had for stock was some anodized black left over from something else so I am not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. The edges will be silver from the cut so that should look pretty cool against the black rim and tie in the trim work on the hearse body as well as the chrome TVPs. He will be dropping off a prototype this evening for me to take a look at. It wont be tapped for the hub yet so I'll figure out some way to attach it for a second to get a picture.

It is going to be alive again soon...clean bill of health from the Doc. This bubba is the 1st truck in my fleet to hit the ground running. Never did get the spin ons for the hubs but I know a trick to deanodize so silver won't be that bad.

Great to know your back and in great Health! Love the Robber Body! I so wanna do one up too. Await more pics!

Buddy of mine came across a new set of Savvy X 4.6 tvp's in his parts and will sell em to me for what they are going for on ebay minus shipping cuz he lives 4 blocks away. $4. Question is will all the goodies on my SS bolt up to the X frames? He doesn't have the engine plates or anything so I wanna know if I can just swap the tvp's.

Thank you my good man. I guess if they don't fit ima just have to build another savvy. I'd have the tvps afterall. Sick sick sick.

You should be good Fix. The X and SS actually share alot of the same parts. For instance, the engine mount and engine plate are the same part number for both trucks.

Excellent, thanks guys. Picking them up here in a bit.
