    Diesel conversion

Oh man! I was just celebrating the savings. NOw, that prompts for another question. What would be that "special blend" made of? It would be nice to do it home made somehow. I guess that's the catch.

    Diesel conversion

Thanks for the tip savageman23601, To convert my HPI F4.6 would be only $160. That translates to roughly 5 Gallons of nitro. Now If I were to buy 5 galons of Diesel that would be $2.65x5=$13.25. This is a sweet deal! I think I'm going to pull the trigger on ths one. Does anyone knows...

    Diesel conversion

Guys, Have you ever heard of a diesel conversion for the engines? I know there's one for the Heli engines but I don't know how feasible would that be in terms of power and fuel savings for our trucks. Any comments are appreciated it.

    Used a DX3S.....Crashed my car...Pics

Well, I have the DX3S and I can say that on my last run with my Savage I lost signal right in front of me (arround 20 feet). The short story... running at WOT, lost signal (couldn't brake) hit a 90 degree curve at WOT, Whammm... parts everywhere. Never happened before this time. I checked...

DX3S rolling selector problem, a known issue?

Well Guys, it's been officially more than one month since I sent the radio to Horizon service and still haven't received it. I sent it out on May 6 and it's June 11 and still no news from it. Does it always take that long? How are your experiences with Horizon service?

    FLM Extended TVP's

Hey Whip nice build man, i love the shocks. I was wondering how much does it weight with the Goliaths? Mine is at 16+ pounds / 7.26+ Kg, heavy as a bag of lead. On my last "light" bashing session I killed two dogbones, snapped one A-Arm, both steering links and pierced the body with the shock...

Working lights?? anyone lets see some pics!!

Hey Lars, the piece that will remotely activate them is a remote switch. It's made out of a cheap op-amp and resistor. Or you could by one already made. What it does it that it will convert the signal from the aux channel into an on off pulse. The one that I have is one made by RC-lights...

Working lights?? anyone lets see some pics!!

Thanks? I'm currently working on the brake lights (mechanical switch). Right now the only thing that got me on hold is that I need to find some sort of red plastic to cover the lights (easier that soldering 16 red leds). And of course some sort of mount, preferably aluminum or CF. The...

Working lights?? anyone lets see some pics!!

Hello my fellow Savagesites, Here is my latest (still work in progress) lights mod. I made this using little flash lights from Advanced Auto Parts $2.00 each + a couple of resistors. They get the power from the savage battery hump pack. I got to tell you this thing can blind you just by...

    stock steering servo

Core, I just put a DS1015 and believe me it's like it wants to rip the steering. No matter what kind of wheels I put it will turn them like feathers. But, also I put a 2700 MAh hump pack to juice this power hungry servo. The only downside that I can see is the cost. I got mine from the...

DX3S rolling selector problem, a known issue?

Thanks for the reply Bank. I guess this is an isolated case then. But if I were Horizon I would've made that roller hinges in metal so they hold stronger. But like I said, maybe is an isolated case and the plastic hinges are strong enough.
