well, I didn't mention earlier but I cut a hole the size of a half dollar coin in the windshield before the run yesterday. But, I do think the temps stay down when the body is off. I will check this during my next run. Also, I have the K4.6. Do you guys think I should change fuels?
Lets see. I'm using a duratrax temp gun. Trinity Monster 20% fuel. I guess I don't know how hard I'm running it because I have never bashed with anybody else so I have nothing to compare. I just hit small jumps and stuff. WOT every now and again but definitely not every run. As for the body, how...
I just got the FLM mid tank done with an OFNA 250cc tank. Today was the first time firing up the truck for the season. Half tank lean is definitely a thing of the past. And as for run times. WOW. I wasnt paying attention to the clock but Id say at least a half hour. I just wanted to give a...
Hey guys. Finally got my FLM mid tank done. Its freaking awesome!!!!!! I am using a OFNA 250cc tank and the run times go on and on and on! Anyways, I got the truck last year and could never get the 4.6 under 290 but i was running it in 80+ degree weather. So, today was the first run of the...
Hey, I flipped all servo plugs in the Rx and got the same results. I made sure the Rx and Tx were on the same frequency. I also looked thru my manual but couldn't find anything that talked about "syncing" my tx and rx. There was an option to reset the rx setting back to default, so I did that...
I'm looking for a new radio system. If you've been reading my posts, Ive been having so much trouble with my Futaba 3PM-FS that I am giving up and looking for a new system. RCplanet.com has the Hitec Aggressor SRX 3CH FM and it comes with the HS-645MG servo. I need to upgrade my servos anyway. I...
Ya this is the only system I have used. It worked just fine the last time I used the truck with the stock tank set up which was Nov 2008. I disconnected everything over the winter and then did the mid tank mod this March. Now nothing works.
Here is my transmitter.

Neither the receiver or the transmitter use a crystal.
Ok I did what you said. I turned my Tx on, and then plugged my battery pack directly into the Rx. Same exact response and the video. Throttle twitch and then...
This is my receiver. Now, if I replace the receiver, do I need to replace it with the exact same receiver, or can I replace it with a different, less expensive one? I just don't know if receivers are universal? Or do you need the exact same one in order to work with the radio?
Ya I'm gonna get a hitech steering servo. As for the crystal, I don't think my receiver has one? Correct me if I am wrong. I tried the different frequency too. didnt work
Ok so I thought that a video may shed some light on what is going on with my truck. This is my first video btw so be gentle. Give me some feedback on what you think the problem is. Servo problem? Receiver problem?

The AA battery pack has brand new AAs in it. And the hump pack is fully charged. I'm not sure if the servos have Futaba J plugs but the servos and radio and receiver are all the same as last year and everything worked fine at that time. I played around a little with the truck today and I am...
I guess explain to me what you mean by plugging in the servo wires backwards. The wire comes out of the servo and plugs into the receiver, so how can you plug it in backwards?
Well, I have the same gear now as last year and it all worked just fine a few months ago before winter. I just wonder why the servos don't react when the power switch is turned on, except for the throttle servo twitching when the switch is turned on. And if everything plugs in correctly...
