    just to add until now i have been using the standard pack with 4 duracell batteries just cannot afford to keep changing them and all recharables seem to be 1.2 volt which is only going to be 4.8 volts not the 6 it requires or am i mistaken?

    check in the manual http://www.hpieurope.com/manuals/pdf/859.pdf that is for the savage x that i happened to have open at the time look at page 23 and it states. Tighten 1 1/2 turns from line A that would put it to factory settings.

    i suppose the speed it spins it would be hard for much to find its way in and dodge in there

    thanks for all the useful info. With the vented clutch bell does it not get more dirt and stuff in the clutch faster?

    Thanks for the reply. It still has the standard clutch bell i belive why do you reccomend changing the clucth bell that is already metal to a racing one and not upgrading the spur gear? Just interested and wanting to learn more ;) I have already ordered a new set of screwes and a new mount
